Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How early should I arrive for my appointment?

A. Please arrive 15 minutes early. This will ensure that you have time to check in and change into spa attire, have a cup of tea and begin to unwind before your treatment. Late arrival could result in a shorter service time.

Q. Can I request a male or female therapist?

A. Yes, you may request a male or female technician.

Q. What should I wear for my spa treatment?

A. You may come in your choice of attire. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and that you leave your jewelry at home. Once you enter Remede Spa & Wellness Center, you will be escorted to change into a robe and slippers. We recommend wearing only your robe and slippers as you will be draped for your treatments, however you may wear undergarments if you prefer.

Q. What if I LOVE the Remede Robe?

A. Our Remede Robes are available for purchase and are a wonderful way to slip back into luxury and relax at home, just as you did at our Spa.

Q. Do you have any treatment rooms specifically for couples to enjoy?

A. Yes, we do have a Couples Room and you may request it! Enjoy a relaxing therapeutic massage or facial with a loved one or friend to make your day at the spa something you can share. (A door may be pulled between the rooms for extended privacy.)

Q. Do you have private treatment rooms?

A. All of our treatment rooms are completely individual and private. Our goal at Remede Spa & Wellness Center is to help you to relax and unwind.

Q. Should I let someone know about my allergies, ailments or disabilities?

A. Yes, this will help to ensure that we may best suit your personal needs during your visit (i.e.: pregnancy, recent injuries, high blood pressure, etc.)

Q. What if I am not sure what type of facial will be the best for my skin?

A. Please feel free to consult with your Esthetician at the time of your appointment. She will analyze your skin and make recommendations as to which facial will best suit your skin's needs. She will make you aware of any extra charges for upgrading your facial. A customized home care regimen will also be be discussed in order to ensure long-lasting results. We want to help you manage your skin.

Q. What about make-up application after my facial?

A. Your Esthetician can lightly dust a fine, mineral powder that acts as a foundation, powder, concealer and sunscreen. You will fall in love with this make-up line that is weightless, oil free and full of vitamins and antioxidants. Please request extra time for this. Talk with your Esthetician or our spa concierge about scheduling your make-over today!

Q. When can I use the Rejuvenation Room?

A. Remede Spa & Wellness Center's Rejuvenation Room may be utilized anytime you have services. Please remember other guests will also be relaxing so please respect their quiet time as well. No electronic devices please.

Q. Can I use the Aroma Steam Cabinet?

A. Yes, the Aroma Steam Cabinet is a great compliment to any service. Please inform the Spa Concierge when scheduling your appointment that you would like 10 or 15 minutes in the Aroma Steam Cabinet, so they will set aside time for you.

Q. How can I best ensure a wonderful experience at Remede Spa & Wellness Center?

A. Please be sure to communicate while making your reservation and during your treatments so that your experience here will be special to your individual needs.

Q. Once I see a certain therapist or technician, am I required to see them exclusively?

A. No, while we certainly encourage relationship building between each technician and their regular clients, we encourage our customers to try working with different Team Members. Each technician has her or his own personal style and specific areas of expertise, so it is only natural to want to find the person or persons who best suit your specific needs. The bottom line is that we want you to be happy with your services as well as your service provider!

Q. Do you accept gratuities and how much is appropriate?

A. Gratuities are not required or expected, although always appreciated by staff members. If you feel you have received a good service you may show it by offering a gratuity to any of our Team members who assist you. Usually the gratuity rate is from 10-20% of the spa service(s) you received.
